The Annual Meeting 2012             May 7th til 12th

The CUMULUS CONVENTION 2012 will be in Eisenach at DÄDALUS at the airport Eisenach-Kindl close to the castle where Martin Luther used to live. There is a camp groud on the DZ where you can park a mobile home or put up a tent. Rental trailers are availlable also.

To get organised I need everybody to send his registration form and a preregistration fee of 25,-€ until the 8th of April.  The jump rates will be 29,€  for 4.000m and 2,-€ in adition for 2 planes in formation. There might be a fuel tax if the fuel price increases strongly.  We will have two DO28 with a total capacity of 30 jumpers. So we will be able to make a 29-way  with video if we are going to have enough qualified participants.

If I find enough interest for that we might even make a European record. The Russian CReWdogs just claimed a Eurorecord for a 19-way Formation. For the comming years we can easily get airlift capacity for a 36-way or a 49-way if  the 2012 camp turns out to be successful.

Everybody who wants to participate in the 25-way camp must have a PD-Lightning with world record line trim refering to the WR-trimchart  and adjust his wingloading to 1,34 to 1,39 or a special permission to use a different canopy.  That might happen for special people in the 4-way base. For a valid record claim also everybody needs a current FAI license from his national aero club.

The 25-way camp will be Monday 7th till Friday 11th of May and the convention 12th/13th.

This camp will be a good opportunity to get current for the invitational 25-way event in China end of May!

And finally: If the 25-way camp is a success we might go for a 36-way camp in September.
